Leighton’s Craft Club

Welcome to the club, Leighton saved you a seat.

The first time Lighthouse For Hope met Leighton, she was doing a craft in the hospital playroom. It was a small moment, but it became the beginning of a bond that would shape our organization forever. Leighton had an effervescent spirit and tenacity that far exceeded her years.

Leighton fought cancer with a bravery that inspired everyone around her. She passed away in 2021 at the age of 9, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and a community that will never forget her.

Naming our craft space after Leighton was never a question.

Leighton's Craft Club lives inside Lighthouse For Hope's new programming hub in Phoenix, Arizona. It is a dedicated creative space where children and families navigating childhood cancer and blood disorders can come together, make something beautiful, and find a moment of joy in the middle of a really hard road.

Help Bring The Club To Life

Leighton's family and community have come together to stock the shelves of Leighton's Craft Club in her honor. They are collecting art and craft supplies to fill this space so that every child who walks through the door has everything they need to create. Whether you knew Leighton personally, or you simply believe that kids fighting cancer deserve a place to make something beautiful, there is a place for you in this effort.
