Holidays For Hope 2025
Bringing light, love, and hope to families facing childhood cancer this holiday season!The holidays should be a time for joy, but for families with a child in cancer treatment, this season often brings extra stress and financial strain. Holidays For Hope is our way of lifting that burden and wrapping these families in love.
Holidays For Hope is one of our most cherished traditions. Each year, Lighthouse sponsors families families facing childhood cancer by providing gifts, household essentials, and financial assistance to help them experience the magic of the season.
This year, we’re taking on our most ambitious goal yet, to sponsor 60 families. Together, we’ll bring hope to every one of them.
How It Works
Holidays For Hope is more personal than your standard “adopt-a-family” program. When you sponsor through Lighthouse For Hope, you’ll learn about the families we are serving and see the tangible difference your generosity makes.
All gifts must be brand new and unwrapped. We cannot accept used items.Every family is referred directly by pediatric oncology social workers and currently has a child in active treatment.We will be receiving referrals until November 14. After that, we’ll begin matching families with donors.We need all gifts for sponsored families by December 8th!

There are several ways to share hope and make an impact this year. Whether you want to sponsor an entire family, donate funds, or host a drive, there’s a way for everyone to get involved!
Sponsor A Family
Our most personal option, sponsor a family and shop for their holiday gifts!
You'll choose the family size that works best for you. We ask that each family member receives at least 2-3 gifts to open.If you’re local to Phoenix, you can shop and drop off to us directly. If out of state, you can shop online and ship them directly to us or the family.Double your impact and gather your coworkers, family, church or community and make it a collective effort!
Donate
Every dollar makes a difference. Donating funds is the quickest and easiest way to bring light this holiday season, and every contribution directly supports families fighting childhood cancer. It really makes a difference and will help us make sure all 60 families get support!

Drives are a wonderful way to get your school, office, church, or community involved! Collect brand new items to brighten the holidays for our families.
We’re collecting:Toys and games for all agesGift cards (Visa, Target, Walmart, gas, grocery, etc.)Household supplies (cleaning products, paper goods, detergent, soap, etc.)Comfort items (blankets, fuzzy socks, lotion, stuffed animals, etc.)
