My name is Emilee Mort, and I am a 23-year-old cancer survivor. At just 19, I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a battle that required three rounds of intense chemotherapy and a life-saving bone marrow transplant. After months of resilience and determination, I was declared in remission in January 2022.

Having faced the challenges of cancer firsthand, I am deeply passionate about supporting and advocating for others in the cancer community. Whether through sharing my story, offering encouragement, or raising awareness, I strive to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those navigating similar journeys.

I am incredibly honored and excited to serve as an ambassador for Lighthouse for Hope, where I can continue my mission of spreading hope, strength, and support to families facing cancer.
