Kathryn Peterson
Hope Ambassador
Kathryn became passionate about helping families with childhood cancer when her daughter Halle was born with a rare type of germ cell tumor that was removed when she was just three months old. She felt the emotional and financial stress that was sadly as much at the forefront of her mind as the diagnosis itself. Their family experienced a miracle: Halle is now a healthy kindergartener! However, this experience left her with a soft place in her heart for families experiencing childhood cancer.
She found Lighthouse for Hope and fell in love with their mission because they work so directly with patients and their families. Kathryn and her husband also raise money through their business, Peterson Family Orthodontics, by giving out cute monkeys to patients in exchange for a donation. She is also a professional harpist and organizes a benefit concert for Lighthouse for Hope each Christmas. She is excited to be part of the Lighthouse team!
Now, as a Hope Ambassador, she looks forward to giving back and supporting and serving these deserving families! Join Kathryn in making a difference—every donation helps bring hope, healing, and community to those who need it most.
