Hi! My name is Sarah, I live in Tucson, AZ and I work as a nurse in a pediatricians office. Ever since I can remember I have had a special place in my heart for pediatric cancer patients and their families. I had the honor of working on the pediatric hem/onc unit at the hospital for almost 3 years. During that time my love, admiration, and desire to help kids fighting cancer grew immensely. I got to see how strong both the patients and their families are and how they are able to find joy even during the most difficult times. I no longer work on that unit, but my passion for helping kids and their families during their cancer battle hasn’t gone anywhere. I am overjoyed to be part of Lighthouse For Hope as a Hope Ambassador. I have been a supporter of Hannah and this organization since the very beginning and I can not wait to see the growth that happens this upcoming year.
