About Lighthouse For Hope

Lighthouse For Hope is a Phoenix-based nonprofit supporting families navigating childhood cancer and blood disorders. We provide direct financial assistance, household and comfort supplies, peer support, and community to families from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. Our programs include Hope Families, Holidays For Hope, the Illuminate Retreat, and monthly events at the Hope Center, our programming hub with a family lounge, playroom, pantry, and donation room.

About The Role

The Operations & Programs Coordinator keeps Lighthouse running smoothly behind the scenes so our families get the best of us. You will be the person who makes sure the Hope Center is clean, stocked, and ready for every family who walks through the door, and you’ll often be the friendly face welcoming them in. You will manage the flow of in-kind donations, support our programs and fundraising events with prep and logistics, and help oversee our volunteers.

This role is a mix of hands-on work, organization, and time with families. Some days you will be picking up donations and restocking the freezer. Other days you will be emailing brands for product donations or building a volunteer schedule for an event. If you like knowing where everything is, enjoy checking things off a list, and want your work to matter to families going through the hardest time of their lives, we would love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

Our work follows a seasonal rhythm. Some responsibilities are steady all year, and others pick up during specific programs and events. You won’t be doing everything at once.
